NASW Endorses Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as Kamala Harris's Vice Presidential Running Mate

NASW's Political Action for Candidate Election (PACE) Committee announced its support for Democratic Nominee and Vice President Kamala Harris's decision to tap Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate. Read the statement and check your voter registration to ensure you are properly updated.

Please check your registration frequently since some voters are finding that their registrations are nonexistent or suspended for some reason of which they are unaware.

You can get involved in the Harris-Watz campaign by doing everything from applying to be a paid poll worker to phone banking to simply talking to family and friends about whether they have a voting plan or not.

The Virginia and Metro DC chapters also seek volunteers to serve on the PACE Committee to help vet and endorse other political candidates who support social workers and their policy priorities. Contact Executive Director Debra Riggs at driggs.naswva@socialworkers.org for information.
