NASW Metro DC Chapter-Endorsed Councilmember Robert White Wins His Democratic Primary June 4

At-Large DC Councilmember Robert White—whom the NASW Metro DC Chapter endorsed for a second term—overwhelmingly won the Democratic primary June 4.

White is a longtime advocate for the social work profession and the chapter’s social and racial justice policies.

“Congratulations, Councilmember White, and thank you to each DC social worker who took time to vote,” said Executive Director Debra Riggs. “As our Code of Ethics demands, civic engagement is core to social work, and I am so pleased that the chapter’s support of this important candidate helped lead to his electoral success.”
