NASW Metro DC Strongly Supports Reproductive Freedom

NASW and the Metro DC Chapter will oppose any decision by the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn Roe vs. Wade and eliminate access to essential reproductive health care. Read the full NASW statement and review our resources at bit.ly/3ybaJ2g.

“Reproductive rights are human rights,” says NASW Metro DC Chapter Executive Director Debra Riggs, CAE. “We will not stay silent if the nation’s highest court treats the right to control our own bodies as anything less than an intrinsic right, not something an individual legislature can give or take away on a political whim. Social workers, make your voices heard!”
