Course Description
Preparing for the ASWB licensing examination can be challenging, but understanding the structure of the exam and developing effective test-taking strategies can significantly improve success. This comprehensive two-day workshop is designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to prepare for either the Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) examination or the Clinical examination (LICSW/LCSW-C).
Participants will receive a thorough review of exam content areas while learning practical approaches to analyzing questions, managing test anxiety, and applying critical thinking skills under exam conditions. The training will cover key social work concepts, theories, interventions, and ethical considerations commonly represented on the licensing exam.
Through interactive instruction, discussion, and practice strategies, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the exam format and strengthen their readiness for licensure.
