nsciously impact our therapeutic lens, client relationships, and emotional well-being.
This session invites practitioners to reflect on the invisible influences shaping their practice, while offering practical tools to stay connected to core values. We’ll examine how to manage ethical dilemmas in divided communities, hold space for complex identities, and maintain personal grounding amidst vicarious trauma and compassion fatigue. This isn’t just about surviving the climate—it’s about staying present, powerful, and principled within it.

Learning Objectives:
1. Explore how “isms” and cultural bias show up in practice and influence ethical decision-making.
2. Identify the impact of media, political climate, and social narratives on clinical presence and personal well-being.
3. Learn strategies to stay grounded and emotionally regulated while navigating complex community and client dynamics.
4. Develop an action plan to protect and align your practice with your values, even when the external world feels misaligned.

Upon completion of this course attendees will earn 2.0 Category I Contact Hours, including 2.0 Ethics Hours.
